Club Volunteering Programme

Honiton Netball Club is very lucky to have a dedicated group of girls who are currently volunteering as young netball leaders.  Their role is to help the coaches with the under 11's, under 12's and under 14's teams each week during training .

Some of these girls are volunteering as part of their Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme or Sports Leaders Award.  Volunteering with the club can count towards the Volunteering, Physical or Skills Section of their awards.

All girls who volunteer are signed up to the England Netball Pass on Your Passion reward scheme, more information about the scheme and the rewards that can be gained can be found at https://www.englandnetball.co.uk/get-involved/volunteers/young-volunteers/

Volunteering not only helps the club but also benefits the girls with their different awards and sets a great example to the younger members of the club.

Offers of help from parents or family members are very welcome as we are always looking for help with coaching or behind the scenes work and we are keen to support and develop the skills of those people, for example there may be the opportunity for the young volunteers or adult volunteers to work towards becoming an umpire or coach.

Volunteers are always welcome however spaces for young volunteers are limited, if you are interested or would like further information please contact
